Beautiful Spring Sunday. We have great skiing and riding over the whole mountain, all of our main trails have been groomed over night providing a corduroy surface for the early birds. Off groomed trails the tracked spring snow will be firm at first softening as the sun warms the snow surface. Come on up and spend the day in the sun.
Currently we have clear skies and a light breeze. Forecast is for sunny skies and a beautiful calm day. Sunscreen and sunglasses are essential.
Please take care while driving on the access road maintaining two way access at all times and pull over to let others pass if travelling slow.
What a way to spend a spring Sunday, it is a great day to take in the view from the lookout at the the top of Shadow Basin and then have a well deserved break at the Ice Bar accessed on Curvey B trail and just soak up the sun!

Shot of the Day
This is strictly girls only, designed for those who are intermediate and above ability level. Some of NZ’s top skiers and riders will be coaching and we have just 60 places per camp.
The day starts with breakfast and a glass of bubbles, you’ll then be divided into groups of similar ability. On top of coaching for the day you’ll also have the opportunity to go tubing, you’ll get a Red Bull BBQ lunch, transport is included to and from The Remarks as well as plenty of prizes and giveaways throughout the day. And then when it’s all over we’ll head to a bar downtown or an after-party where you’ll be able to view loads of pics and video footage!
